oh, and since he doesn’t “get it” you break it down for him like this…in the football arena of life, two of our friends just got moved up to the club level and here I sit in the stands, on a bench…with my shoes sticking to the concrete from spilled soda…he’ll get that

Aw, that’s rough.

Nona is wise.

Remember, it’s not a competition.

@newcitylights:  This is actually a good thing. If all his friends are getting married, he is more likely to pop the question. With that said, though, try not to make yourself look too needy. It’s hard but you want to act like the girl he would want to marry lol. If he doesn’t propose in a reasonable amount of time then walk. There really isn’t much you can do about it, unfortunately. You also don’t want to feel like you pressured him into marrying you because you’ll always wonder.

@newcitylights:  “I explained it has to do with not feeling secure in our relationship”

I say this with great caring — no judging! But this worries me. A proposal is not about assuring security in one’s relationship. The security should already be there.

I am sorry you are upset.

he wouldn’t say “your time would come” if he didn’t mean with you… it will happen just be patient.

@newcitylights:  Im so sorry **hugs** ive been there where everyone around me was getting engaged and i was waiting it sucks i know but for now all you can do is keep the pressure off your guy. men hate it when they feel pressures and hopefully he does have plans to POP the question soon. for now give yourself a timeline and trust your guy. he did say your time will come right? hopefully that time is soon ; ) untill then smile. i know its hard but nagging and asking will not help ( thats what i did hehehehe) and it did not help me or make my so at the time feel any better about popping the question.

good luck and i hope it all works out ; )

Hang in there! At least he is saying that “Your day will come”!!! That is a good good goood sign!

It shows that he is at least thinking about it, even if he hasn’t planned it out yet it’s still on his mind.
