- Wedding: July 2011
Hi Everyone, I’m new to this side of the website because our wedding(2nd for both of us) is in 5 weeks from yesterday. We are officially 5 weeks pregnant this coming week and we are excited, nervous, dont remember alot from mine and his previous kiddos. He has 2 boys(13 & 9) and I have a teenage daughter(14.5). So its been a longggggg time for me. We are trying not to announce to anyone untill the tail end of the wedding reception, not because of any uproar(both families will be thrilled) but because we still want the wedding to be about our love and the celebration of us becoming a family and my mom is ummm loud and needed a tranquilzer for my 1st wedding to calm her down. Our kids are doing the unity candle and right up there with us.
But… here’s the point I was trying to get to. We bought the “what to expect” book again and man o man I dont remember alot of that stuff. I was 18 the 1st time around so I definetly didnt listen to the balance diet thing back then. Our 1st appointment is on the 27th and I’m quitting my job this week. I know its way too early but I haul Pepsi for a part time living and go to school. That pop is seriously heavy and I average around 2 tons a shift of stocking cases of pop in the grocery stores. Which is too heavy of manual labor for most girls I know and definetly for pregnancy. Mine is a sweat your butt off, develop carpel tunnel the 1st couple weeks into it kinda of job and silently cuss out the pallets of pop when trying to convince the pallet jack to move a foot or so. It is true about your additional pregnancies expanding your body faster. I have lost .2 lb in the last month and have expanded about a inch. Sorry about the long post, we are just really excited.
