Sigh. Two of my bridesmaids are in a perpetual fight.
They are my two best friends from elementary school, and they have been friends since Kindergarten – I’ve known them since about 7th grade. They’ve always been closer with each other than with me, but recently they’ve been butting heads big time.
I know that they won’t make a scene at the wedding, as they are both mature enough to put issues aside for my big day. But come ON! You’ve been friends for almost 20 years, just get over it already! It tires me to hear their troubles because I just want everything to be OK.
I just want to shake them both.
/vent over.

Ugh, how stressful! Maybe you could talk to them about how their problems are adding to your stress and maybe ask them to try to tone it down (or at least tone your involvement down) until the wedding?

If it is wedding issues that they are butting heads over, I would just try to put it out of your mind or even speak to them priavately about how much it’s bothering you. Don’t make it seem all about your wedding, you don’t want to come off as self-centered. Maybe you can even help them work through it a little.

I have to second Solstice, maybe you can help or at least remind them that they have been friends for so long they shouldn’t keep fighting, etc. I hope it all works out!
