Last night my Fiance, his brother and I were involved in what started out as a fender bender. We were driving down a icy hill and about 15 feet in front of us a car was turning left, no other cars were coming, but as we got closer the car infront of us just stopped turning and applied the breaks. Mind you they are in both lanes at this point, we hit a patch of uce and we couldn’t stop in time and bumped into them, we weren’t going fast maybe 10-15mph. So we pulled over and parked the car, then next thing you know the driver of the other suv revs up his car and makes a full 180 and slams into the front end of my poor suv.
We and them call the police, but there was a more serious accident and they never showed up. I know the first hit was our fault, but the men deffinetly did it out of spite when he hit my car like that. We all took tons of pictures and a woman from a near by house came out and saw what he had done. Should I get a statement from her?
My question is, how the heck do I submit this to my insurance? The buttface driving the other SUV was dead stopped and his car didn’t even budge when we bumped him, so him turning around and slamming into my car was all his own doing. It was almost as if he wanted us to hit him, but since the police never showed up we don’t have a report to go off of. I’m so angry, because he’s messed up my fender, my lights, cracked my bumper, bent the metal of my hood in and the wheels feel funny.
Should I take them to court or let my insurance company duke it out?
