Saddly I had to trade in my car after 10 years of its companionship ;((( It was the first big item i ever bought.  I drove a Mitsubishi Eclipse RS and it was my love for 10 years.   That’s right, my lover! hee hee…It was breaking down on my several times and Darling Husband, since we are TTC, said my car wasnt safe and it wouldnt be once we had a baby.  I hate to say it, but he was and is right, so we bought a Mazda CX5 and I do like it, but I dont feel the same love that I did towards my little eclipse.  I know it might sound silly, but I really loved that car;((( I cried when I drove away from it.

@Kjeff760:  Prrrrrr…Fiance has a 2002 Impreza WRX sedan. He loves it.

@This Time Round:  Every review of Potenzas I’ve read says they’re crap. They have no grip/traction at all, even on dry roads. I get pulled into every crack/ridge everywhere I go, which is a little scary on the highway, not to mention they don’t grip the road at all, so I get blown around in a light breeze. The good news is that a much better quality set that’s perfect for AWD costs less than one Potenza.

@Girasole:  oh ok BC I had another issue with the clutch. That’s the main reason for my hate of My tc

@vorpalette:  My Fiance is looking to buy a new car (he has a 2006 Dodge Ram quad cab short bed 1500 with a HEMI… needless to say he gets almost negative miles to the gallon LOL) and we are between a slightly used 2012 Subaru Imprezza or “building” and ordering a Dodge Dart! I’m glad to hear you love yours! We adore the dart but my personal opinion is that right now, with trying to also buy a house, a slightly used Imprezza is probably a better financial option than a brand spanking new Dart.

I had an old Volvo that I was basically obsessed with (a 1995 850).  It was so old and it recently finally died ๐Ÿ™  I just loved it.  I also loved my Mustang, which I miss very very much, but it was too much temptation for Darling Husband so I put him in an SUV to slow him down (at least it worked!)

@vorpalette:  yes, the AWD is a huuuuge draw for Fiance as well, considering we want to live in the country ๐Ÿ˜› Oh, and that we also have 45 minute commutes to each of our respective jobs, so when it snows other people are like “eh, it’s gonna take me a half hour to get to work instead of 15 mins” and we’re like… “seriously let’s just call in sick rather than drive TWO HOURS in horrible crap” lol. So AWD would at least make a long commute in bad weather a little safer and more manageable!

@vorpalette:  +1 on that! I have an 89 Legacy Wagon and it has 4wd vs the AWD (even though they’re pretty much the same), and I loveeee it. I’ll never get anything but a Subaru.

@Mrs Canuck:  Beautiful! Mine is Eleanor (from Gone in 60 Seconds) and is that light green color – legend lime metallic with tan roof and upholstery.  I don’t have pics on my phone though. ๐Ÿ™

My cars are a 1998 Nissan Sentra (that ex husband drives, and lets his fiancee drive ugh) and a 2006 Ford Taurus that I co-own with Fiance. Nothing fancy, haven’t had a car I really loved since about 1999. That was a ’95 Pontiac Sunfire. Best car ever.
