Caramel apple escort cards??

I think they’ll look fine on the table, but, while I love caramel apples, that’s an awfully sticky item to have while dressed up for a wedding. I’d probably be afraid to touch it or eat it for fear that it would get all over my hands/dress. Unless caramel apples are related to your theme in some way, I’d look for another option.

I’d love getting a caramel apple as a wedding favor, and as long as it was wrapped so it’s easy to take home I think it would be great

I agree, I think they would look fine but realistically not that many adults eat caramel apples so it might be a bit wasteful, if they are wrapped well people might take them for kids though. And for a November wedding they would definitely look cute.

I think those sound adorable and delicious! As long as they’re wrapped, the stickiness shouldn’t be an issue 😊 if you’re planning to make them yourself, that amount may be ambitious. As for fitting on the table, try mini ones? I’ve seen those and they’re so cute! Generally yes the entrance table includes a card box and guest book. Perhaps you want to ask if there is room for a second small table for those items if you’re worried? Otherwise, the mini apples shouldn’t take up much more space than a traditional escort card. Another option might be to just have a seating chart instead, and have the apples sitting at each place setting as a favor!

sweatergal007 :  Ditto to that.

chickendance75 :  If you’re worried about the apples, we used Ferrero Rocher using the same general idea at our November wedding. The guests LOVED it. Not nearly as messy and easy to do. It looked something like this:

chickendance75 :  I would LOVE to get one!!

As long as they are wrapped up so can enjoy later 🙂

Depending on how big your table is, you can just have the apples lined up (which would look cool on their own!) or you can add the guest book/card box.

If they dont fit, you can have a separate small table for that near the entrance of your venue.

chickendance75 :  Yep, it’s toothpicks and nice cardstock. You can either use Microsoft Publisher to make the design, print them and cut them out. Or, Darling Husband and I used a scrapbooking hole punch to cut out nice circular shapes and hand-penned just a “Thank You” in script on each of ours in gold, but we had a super small wedding and a super small restaurant reception of 35-ish people (there wasn’t assigned seating). Hope this helps. 🙂
