We were going to do caramel apples from daffyapple but our wedding was a bit too early for their season.  I was heartbroken!  Then I figured out our initials spelled ‘L.U.C.K’ and it was lottery tickets since that moment.  LOL

They are a great idea and I think in the packaging on the tables they’d be beautiful!

I am going to go with the plain peanuts (my faves) and use little cellohphane bags, get a stamp that says mr. and mrs. For the tag and let ‘er rip. I will do them on my candy buffet and a few at my actual family table so that we can enjoy them lol!!

@amberdawn1064: Would you mind posting a link? I need to do something for tags, but I’m not sure what to do. All my scrapbooking stuff is in storage, and I would need a stamp. At this point, I’m all about someone else making stuff! lol

Does daffy make just a plain caramel apple? I think i’d rather have those than ones w/ nuts/chocolate/candy on them,……

Edit: Nevermind! I just saw on their site they don’t make plain ones…

We didn’t do any for favors, but I LOVE carmel apples.  The fun thing is you can get so creative with them.  I usually get mine here http://www.debritochocolate.com/caramelapples.php so you could, too, or you could get ideas of combos you could make.  They even have a bride and groom if that’s what you’re going for. ๐Ÿ™‚

I actually just got our caramel apples in this week from Daffyapple.  They arrived in great shape and look great in the cellophane bags you get from there too!  I had to cheat the system a bit in order to get them, as they don’t ship to Florida.  So I had them shipped to my parents in Ohio and they turned around and UPS shipped them down to me ๐Ÿ™‚  It worked and I can’t wait to display them!

@gretchin405:  That’s so good to know! I am def considering doing that for our wedding but have to wait until next Oct!!  How many did you order and did you stick w/ one kind or order several different kinds?

@cherrycoke: Yeah it is pricey, but their apples are HUGE.  And if nothing else maybe it gives a creative person an idea for something they can make themselves. ๐Ÿ™‚
