Size 4.75 size finger, 1 carat diamond.  Nice fit.  Anything larger would overwhelm.  It’s a family stone, so I’m not complaining.

I have size 4 fingers and my center stone is 2 ct and total weight is close to 3.  It looks huge (not that I’m complaining).

I have a little les than half a carot and my finger is 5.5.

It’s a very delicate and lovely fit and setting and anything bigger wouldn’t look very pretty In My Humble Opinion.

I think you’re going to find it varies all over the board.

ring 4.5, 3/4carat – I have really really dainty hands/fingers, so anything larger would be overwhelming (even 1 carat looks ridiculously huge on my hand).

sorry no pics!

I really think it has to do with your preferences though!

I know you can’t try that exact one on, but if you can you should pop into a jewelry store and try on a similar size, it’s going to be different for everyone. I wear a 7.25, and my ring is a 1 ct princess solitaire. I feel like anything bigger would be too much for me, where someone with a much smaller hand may thing 1 ct is still to small.

My ring size is 5, here is a photo of a 1.5ct round stone on my hand. I hope that helps!

I think a 2ct center with a halo would look big on a 6.5 sized finger, but I like big lol. I agree with the suggestion to try on a similar ring in a jewelry store.

Theres a really good chart a found a while back somewhere.  I think this is for round caret weight, but you can use the actual diameter part.  Looks like a 2ct round on a 6.5 finger would cover 47-50% of your finger.  I wear a 4.25 and have about the same coverage at 45-47%.  I think it’s a really good size, but with the halo, it’d look huge… almost wish I considered showing Fiance halos now when I was showing him what I like!

My ring is similar to the one you show.  My ring size is about 5 3/4.  My center diamond is around .82 (less than a caret) and I think it looks great on my finger (although this picture doesn’t really show it). Mine has a round center stone, which i recommend cause it is so shiny!  Also, with the square halo the center stone is often perceived as square… but it’s not.  I also get a lot of complements on it from random strangers.
