confusedman1001 :  If your gf wants a knife edge don’t change that! The only solitaires I like are knife edge, I had no issue finding a wedding band and I find it comfortable. Mine isn’t Tiffany, but the Tiffany style is so coveted for a reason. If she finds the knife edge uncomfortable then it can be softened later on.

Since she has such tiny fingers and you’re worried about color I’d go with #1. If I was shopping for myself I’d go for #3. But #4 also sounds like a great option!

Edit: Just saw your update, great choice!

confusedman1001 :  The level of consideration you’ve put into this process is impressive. You’ve picked an absolutely stunning diamond!  It’s wonderful that you were deliberate, methodical, and patient in your diamond selection process.  Not to mention you now know more about diamonds than even some jewelers. Since you even know the setting that your intended prefers, I bet she will love the ring! I wish you good luck with the proposal, and that you and your future spouse have a wonderful life together. May she wear this ring in good health! Please come back and show us the completed ring laughing

I am color sensitive so my vote typically is always the higher color. However, Round diamonds are cut to hide color very well. If the 1.50, I, VS2 is still fairly white I would consider it.

I’d also go for option 1. In the UK anything above 1ct is considered pretty huge!

Woops, I was being lazy and only read the first page of comments. Good choice though 😉 Congratulations!

You definitely made the right choice. I find carat to be the least important factor when choosing a diamond. But then I have a dainty 0.21ct stone 🙂

I hope you come back with a picture of the real deal. Or perhaps your fiancée will!
