i personally don’t think so. i had a wedding of 15 guests and no card box. i honeslty didn’t think of it and don’t think i would have if i did think of it. Because we did a Destination Wedding and i would have had no room to pack one.  But what happened with the few people who did give cards at the wedding was that they left it under/beside our guest book on the guest book table.

I don’t think you need one, perhaps put out a basket or even a bucket for cards, just so they can all be placed/stored in one place instead? πŸ™‚

I think a nice little basket might be a good idea so people don’t feel awkward handing it to you. Easy to find πŸ™‚

like you I’m having a small wedding (30-40) I’m not sure if having a card box looks grabby (I worry on that too) but I already made it so I think I’m gonna use it, I just did a quick DIY by cutting a slot in the top of a shoe box and covering that in nice wrapping papper. Gotta love the 0 cost DIY πŸ™‚

I kinda feel like having one is best so guests don’t feel so strange so maybe a smaller one will do the job and not look card hungry πŸ™‚ or something that otherwise just looks like a nice decoration.

I’m  having a small wedding (35-50 people) and I think we will have a card box. I just don’t want things getting lost, especially if people are instead handing them directly to us.
