Here’s mine! I made it with instructions from another bee…

And I’m SUPER happy with how it turned out. ๐Ÿ™‚

@rachelmdbride:  can you share where you got the instructions from? that is beautiful and I would love to try to make one myself.

@littlebear2171:  Thank you! You can find the instructions on the following page:

My DIY Cardbox! Inspiration vs. my box! *pic heavy*

The original bee gave very detailed instructions, and I bought everything at Hobby Lobby (with 40% off coupons from online, of course!). Also, I think she had a flower and I opted to just have ribbons, but to each her own. ๐Ÿ™‚ Good luck!

that is a cute idea…I am just not crafty like that!!

I was planning my own wedding and was looking for something different than the traditional card box but wanted it to stand out. I found this on Etsy It was a big hit and I had many friends asking for them.

my Maid/Matron of Honor surprised me with a card box, which was put to good use at both the wedding, bridal shower, and is great home decor now!! She knew that I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on a store bought card box that I will never use again (and I recently went to a friends’ wedding and her store bought card box did not fit many cards OR the larger envelopes!! Anyway, my Maid/Matron of Honor knew I was picky and found this. I HAD to share it because it came out amazing!!!

Here is mine! Found a tutorial on another website. Just used paper mache boxes, spray paint, and ribbon. It was hard to take a good pic!

I’m too lazy to crop this photo but you can see my card box on the chair on the right… it is a vintage tackle box with a DIY Cards sign made with burlap and bakers twine. Loved how it turned out and fit my vintage theme well. The box was even a bday gift from my husband. ๐Ÿ™‚
