shipping DOUBLES the price. it’s AWFUL. That’s why I ultimately decided against using them.

Instead I used a local supplier of http://www.envelopments.com/

@missjewels:  I was going to but the shipping was insane. If you are in the grass is can give you thename of a store in Toronto that does bulk orders to get these products from cards and pockets at a discounted rate.

It wasn’t as bad as doubling for me.  I think I spent about $200 and it was about $50 more, but it was a while ago, so I could be off.

Yeah, I searched my email and my numbers were about right.  I think there was also an additional $10 duty charge that had to be paid when the package arrived.

@takemyhand, what is the store in Toronto?

@bebefly, does envelopments end up being cheaper? they still look expensive. although shipping is ridiculous on cards and pockets, i think it works out to being cheaper..

i’m still in the early stages of shoping around.. paper is soo expensive !!

I didn’t want to deal with duties, and taxes on top of the purchase price, so I went through a Canadian site: Paper Garden

I can’t say enough good things about the owner/operator, Gina. She runs the business with her husband out of their house, which happens to be only 5 minutes from my teeny hometown! To save me from shipping charges, she even allowed my MOH to go pick up my items for me, which was truly amazing of her. I highly recommend their services!

@atao:  I went with PaperCircle.  They are a Canadian company.  I was very happy with the quality of the products and the service as well.

@takemyhand:  don’t know if you’re still on the Bee – but if you could share the name of the place in the GTA that gets pocket folds it would be amazing!
