I’ve found 2 great sellers on Etsy who offer the infamous mustaches on a stick, one seller does them in cardstock and one does them in felt. I’m not sure which will hold up better. The cardstock ones are cheaper cost wise. What did you use and how did it hold up?

i think I would go for the card stock, it would save money and suit it’s purpose. On a side note…I saw these a while back, chocolate! 😀

I think either one would work…
The only thing with cardstock that sticks out to me is- if your wedding is in July- I’m assuming the weater is going to be rather warm? Is the wedding outdoors? I just wouldn’t want people sweating on the paper. Gross, I know. But that’s the first thought that came to mind.

I’d vote for felt. I made some felt ones this weekend for a photo shoot I did of my friend and her siblings. The felt seemed really sturdy too. Also I agree with the pinkpinstripes re: grossness of the cardboard ones…ick!

I would just make them. Buy some felt from a dollar store, grab some funky free templates off the net and go (then you just need to worry about sticks, but seriously, you could probably just modify some sort of crafting stick or wooden kabob stick), then you won’t have to pay shipping.
On a side note, the cardstock might be cheaper, but they would be more prone to bending, and there is always the possibility of a slight glare when working with any sort of paper (though it really depends on lighting etc).

I didn’t think about the sweat factor! Our wedding is indoors with air conditioning but people coming off the dance floor may still be sweaty.
I’ve also thought about making them myself but in the end, it will be a ton easier to just buy them and save me a DIY headache!
