Well I’m sure you guys will get her stuff on her Baby Shower later on, so right now I would focus the gifts on her like you’ve been doing.

The cocoa butter for stretch marks is good, how about a magazine subscription for pregnant women?

How about candied ginger or peppermint tea to help with morning sickness? I know they also have something called like, Preggo Pops or something – lollipops for morning sickness. (I’ve never been pregnant so I don’t know if they work! But this is the stuff we brought my mom when she was in the hospital after surgery and nauseous from the pain meds… I’m guessing morning sickness is similar!)

Maybe a copy of What to Expect When You’re Expecting?

A subscription to a parenting magazine, the “girlfriend’s guide to pregnancy” book (heard this one is really good!), gift card towards maternity photos?

We bought my sister-in-law Mama Mio cream, which is like a fancier version of cocoa butter to rub on your belly for stretch marks. I like that you are doign stuff for HER, not the baby. Maybe a really nice hand cream as well, the kind of thing you love but never want to spend the money to buy for yourself.

You are such a SIL. Here are some ideas:

Body butter

Restaurant gift certificates to local takeout places

Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy

Maternity Store Gift Certificate or Clothing

Sweat pants of PJ’s- Maternity Size

If you know what she is craving, getting her some of that would be great! I ate boxes of cereal when I was pregnant. One day my SIL dropped by with a box, it was great.
