Here is a better representation of my Claddagh Ring. Had it made from this Linda Clifford design.
Alright so a lof of you might say my ring is pretty trendy right now, being a halo and sapphire gemstone (hello princess kate!? -ps. wanted a sapphire since i was 12 nothing to do with the royal family… anyways haha) But i think my use of a sapphire band is kind of neat an unique so hopefully i can play along!
Mine? Is a bit different, unusual setting and unusual stone
Everyone really does have such unique rings.
I have posted my ring a milions times but I just love it! Hope you do too!
It’s a 1917 Modified Brilliant Cut. Very art deco from the side. We found it at a local jewelry shop that buys from Estate sales. It has the previous owers initials in it with the year it was made. It was EXACTLY what I wanted! I had to get the wedding band made to fit the ring. THey did a great job with it.
@alishaloo: hahah yea, this pearl was a monster. Darling Husband still felt like he wanted to put a lot of money into the ring to demonstrate his committment to me (super sweet), but unfortunately pearl rings aren’t expensive at all (compared with diamonds) and so more money=bigger pearl, which is why it was enormous lol
@yanamari: Ya, to buy it out of the case it is like $5k +. That is why we are custom making it. Our store is only charging us $2k. My fiance bought my princess cut diamond already and put it in a plain tiffany setting for our engagement. We are making the mark schneider design for my wedding ring. So we will just take this princess cut diamond and put it in that setting and I won’t get it until our wedding day. CAN’T WAIT!!!! 😉
