I went to Cuba in october, and we were SO SO lucky. It poured the entire week before we left, even the day we arrived (we landed in the evening), and started pouring as we were waiting for our cab back to the airport. We literally hit the weather jackpot there.
I’ve also been to Mexico in October. It was fully sunny for exactly 1 day. Our room flooded because of how much it rained. We literally ran from the hotel to the restaurants to the spa and back lol. And since it was only sunny 1 day, I wanted to spend the entire day outside, and pale ass me got burned really bad.
So far I’m at 50/50 lol.

We went to the Bahamas at the end of November before and it was perfect. That’s also when we will go on our honeymoon this year to Jamaica. We’re getting married in September, and are considering a small “mini-moon” right after the wedding.

We got married & honeymooned outside of Cancun in mid July & it was gorgeous! It did rain a few times, but they were very light/quick showers (30 mins max)- then it rolled on out & the sunshine returned (with quite a bit less heat & humidity!). We just made sure to get travelers insurance so we would be covered in case of any bad weather…

We went on our honeymoon to Cancun area in September and it rained a ton. It was still fun but would have been great to have nice weather and been able to take advantage of excursions etc

September and October tend to be of the worst hurricane season and rainiest month.
If you are going in October, maybe you can go to the ABC islands (Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao) which are out of the hurricane belt.
But yea at the end of the day, it just depends on your luck.
