Anyone have specific honeymoon destinations/resorts that are all inclusive in the Caribbean/Bahamas/Virgin Islands (that area)? We are hoping to book our honeymoon in the next couple of weeks. We are using a travel agent but i would love some more input! Ps–no need to telling me about Sandals! I am very interested in them but I am very aware of their options! Thx!

@kp88: Hi! We usually don’t opt for all-inclusive because it ends up being more expensive for us than it would to order as usual. But with that said – what type of island are you looking for? Do you want to just stay on a resort and chillax, or do you want to do activities (and what kind)? I did EXTENSIVE research on all of the islands over the last year to plan a trip for us, so I can rack my brain for you to narrow down good choices! 🙂

Interesting about he all inclusive–i may check that out with the travel agent.
We would love to stay at a resort-like atmosphere (private beaches, service, spa, etc..) but we would also love to stay somewhere that has a nice/safe community that we could venture into–walking distance. I have heard that maybe Grand Cayman would be good for this. We don’t scuba dive so I don’t want to give up the great beach for a better diving area. I love the white sand with the sun beating down all day. My Fi would probably enjoy somewhere more lush (from pictures St. Lucia looks like this). As far as activities go we would both love to snorkel or even swim with dolphins–some sort of fun/low key water activity. I would also love to be able to do spa treatments. I would say about 60% chilling on the beach, 30% activity (snorkel, zip-line, sailing), and about 10% local cultural activity/restaurants (if possible–this is the least important). Hope this helps!

Hey! I went to the Bahamas and stayed at Breezes all inclusive: http://www.breezes.com/resorts/breezes-bahamas/
I want to say that it’s a no-kid zone, at least I didn’t see any all 5 days I was there. The food and service were both great. THey have fun water sports and a beautiful beach.
From what I remember it was EXTREMELY inexpensive as well. You can also walk next door to a much larger/more expensive/non-all inclusive resort where they have a casino.
