I’ve run across this centerpiece idea/inspiration that I LOVE: a candelabra with carnations instead of candles. However, my wedding is more modern, clean, romantic and whimsical – not vintage at all. Do you think this looks too vintage?? I was thinking of spray-painting them white to make it more modern. Or I thought about looking for modern candelabra, but I think that might lose the effect.
Secondary question: Where can I find inexpensive candelabras like this or a modern version??

I love that and I think it already looks romantic and whimsical. I think it could fit in with a modern or vintage wedding but I love the gold color as it is.

I just saw this the other day and I think it’s beautiful as is! I’ve looked around for candelabras too, but they don’t come cheaply. You may be able to rent them from your florist for a better deal. I saw some on Jamaligarden.com though if you are interested (silver and brass).

I think spray painting them in a whilte high gloss paint would make them look very modern. But I love it as is, too!

I love the idea of spray painting them a high gloss to match your wedding. I have several candelabras at thrift stores and they cost me next to nothing.

@tksjewelry: Great sugggestion. I’ll have to check out the thrift stores near me! So did you just get a bunch of different styles, since obviously it’d be hard to find a bunch of the same exact candelabras at a thrift store?
