Our centerpieces will sit on top of a mirror, with tealights scattered at the base.

Are you going to submerge flowers or hang beads / crystals inside the cylinder vases like in the pic? If so you could try to incorporate more of whatever is in the cylinders in smaller bud vases around the centerpiece- little votive holders with single orchids in them for example

@cllyons: wow these look great. what size is the ball you used to put the carnations in? Also if you don’t mind me asking how much do you think each centerpiece cost you aaround? i’m getting married in a month and still can’t narrow down the most cost effective yet pretty centerpiece for my big day =/

Let me see if I can find a good pic of what we did. We used the vases with the pomander and separated them with tea lights. By the time the plates, table numbers, etc got on the table…it was pretty full. We did one tall cylindrical vase and four short square ones.

Excuse the legs underneath the table. I am just now noticing that I didn’t put the table skirt on the first row of tables like I planned. Thankfully my sister (the bride) and the guests didn’t notice. Now I know why I had so many extra table skirts….LOL. OOPS!! Hopefully the photographer worked around that =)

The below picture is the trial run I did at my house.
