I think just carnations would be pretty 🙂 Or you could add that white stuff-

I think carnations alone would be fine!  Maybe for the bouts and corsages you could add a little greenery and/or baby’s breath.

I love the texture of just carnations.  I think you should go for it!

I actually like the first photo with just the carnations. I don’t like baby’s breath. Reminds me of homecoming…

I’m using carnations.  I think they are pretty and they are also inexpensive.

You could totally rock carnations.

How stinking cute are those?

Are’t all those pics gorgeous! And they’re fairly hardy flowers, too – if you have somewhere cool to keep them i water, you could do them two days before your wedding, freeing up some time… I’m doing that, and just leaving all stems quite long until we’re near ready to go to church, then Future Mother-In-Law will get out the secateurs and snip snip up to the ribbon for nice neat bouquets and bouts!

In a garage or shed, depending on weather? We rarely have proper hot weather here, so ours will live in the garage for the two nights. Once I figure out how to avoid the cats knocking/eating/pissing on them. What’s your weather gonna be like then, on average? You could take over the fridge and the neighbour’s fridge, I guess, if you empty them of food – I read something somewhere about some foods affecting the ripe/overripe balance with some flowers. Mrs Cola had a fairly detailed post about her DIY flowers, done on Thurs for Sat wedding.
