@sharmon13:  I am and I love them 🙂 Super affordable and very lovely. I am doing a mix of roses and carnations for my bouquet and my bridesamids are only having carnations. You get a lot more flower for your money (which just makes me jump for joy)

I didnt, but my SIL did.  She was going to have an all carnation bouquet and her florist surprised her with some extra orchids in it.  I love the texture and interest the orchids brought in.

I definitely am!! I found these two inspiration photos today and are inlove with the fullness they bring. Carnations are pretty and practical. :o)

My bouquet will be like this first one with carnations and peonies added in.

I so wanted to as they are my #2 favorite flower but was told, “you really shouldn’t do that.  They are funeral flowers.”  🙁

I love their smell, the variety of colors, and how hardy of a flower they are!  I think it’s a great choice!  The inspiration pics posted on here are awesome!

I’m using them. They’ll be in the bouquets and the centerpieces along with gerber daisies, spider gerbers, and some other stuff I can’t remember. A couple of dahlias and ranunculuses…ranunculi? as well but those will be used sparingly.

I love carnations! My bouquet (1st wedding) had a mix of many flowers, including carnations. I had a winter wedding, and the carnations I had in the bouqet were called “peppermint” and had the prettiest color!

Half of our centerpieces are carnations. We’re doing something like this (on the left) except with red carnations and a glass candlestick/vase.

I visited a few florists and they agreed carnations is very affordable and pretty to look at… a lot of ppl don’t realize they are looking at carnations..
