LOL, love the towels and the 50 drinks/hour! How did you like the cruise? I’ve never been on one but have been dying to go…

It was fun!! All the free food you could want (and then some!) I got so spoiled! We did a snorkling excursion as well, and that was sooo much fun!!
They always have some short of show going on; there’s plenty of entertainment. But the lounges are usually crowded; DH and I pretty much don’t like crowds of people and prefer to keep to ourselves. THere’s plenty of room to sunbathe, etc.
Awesome experience. But we were so ready to come home! ๐

My FH and I our planning our honeymoon and we can’t decide between a cruise and an all inclusive resort. Would you reccomend the cruise for a honeymoon? Also, did you have a big drink tab at the end? Congrats!

No drink tab, because we didn’t drink. We actually didn’t even care to find out how much the drinks were. The cans of soda provided in the rooms are $2 each. We didn’t go for those. (there is a soda program where you can get sodas much cheaper) — they provide lemonade, tea, coffee, and hot chocolate in the dining rooms.
The alcohol is sooo expensive! The wines were expensive in the main dining rooms. Carnival solicits its mixed drinks HEAVILY… we were approached several times while sunbathing, at least twice at dinner, etc, by someone offering us “something from the bar.” And during breakfast, they walk around with a cart for bloody mary’s! It was slightly annoying, but DH and I always politely refused. I think they somewhat expect it from most. In the main dining rooms, most people just drink water.
Carnival does pre-paid gratuties as well, and they came out to $100 for DH and I – it’s divided between the dining staff, the housekeeping staff, etc.
