What I wish I had known when I booked with her:
After waiting over 6 months to get album proofs, I tried for 6 weeks to get in touch with her to find out the status, and finally I had to write a displeased email to her assistant to get any response at all.
Any time estimates she gives about when to expect delivery of a product are inaccurate; it has taken between 2 and 6 times as long as she said for us to get anything.
She forgot to take a photo of my entire family at my wedding, even though it was on the list I gave her ahead of time.
Every time we ordered prints, our order was either missing photos, or we got someone else’s photos.
She makes it very difficult to meet with her in person and will only do so during very limited hours on weekdays. If you have a full time job, you will probably find it hard to work with her.
She always has an excuse, usually involving her personal life, for why she failed to respond or failed to deliver a product on time. She also has a tendency to blame the client for her failures. It is unprofessional.
The way she asks you to pay her is to give her your credit card number over her cell phone. The card number I gave her was stolen within 24 hours and used for fraudulent charges.
When I finally got my album proofs (months after I submitted my photo choices to her), I was pretty sure that the pictures were not the ones I picked. I decided it wasn’t worth the monumental effort it would have taken to discuss this with her and just ordered the album as is.
Her customer service is not commensurate to the amount of money that she charges.
