(Closed) Carpet dance floor?

I think if you want people to dance you need a proper dance floor. It’s really awkward dancing in heels on carpet.

@AngelaReneeClaire:  I think i’d find that my heels still catch on the carpet and I wouldn’t dance if that was the case but I’d still give it a go just in case it was ok.

Our reception was a ballroom with hardwood so we didn’t need a different flooring.  We designated it by positioning the tables so that it was clearly the large open space near the band.  I don’t think you need to designate a perimeter.  People will know what to do!
