If it’s the place you want then you’ll want it despite the colour of the wall/carpet. Our venue did not match our wedding colours at all. It bothered me at the very start and then I realized that I was being too picky IMO. I let it go and I’m glad I did – I loved the venue, my groom loved the venue and our guests loved the venue. Nobody cared that the walls were red and our colours were white and yellow.

We wanted our wedding to be outside so I didn’t think of this. It ended up being too cold for all of our guests to be outside for the reception. That day we made the decision to have the older guests inside and the younger guests outside with heaters. (The door to the inside room stayed open and everyone else was in a courtyard right there so people were able to mingle and it felt like we were all in one place). My main color was pink and I also used other spring colors. The inside room was maroon. I think it still looked beautiful, and it helped that the room had the vintage feeling we were going for.
