I absolutely love St. Thomas, V.I. I spent 10 days there several years back and was in heaven the whole time.  While I was there, I spent a day in St. John (AMAZING), took a day cruise to the BVI (visited Virgin Gorda & Tortola)…I can’t even begin to describe how beautiful it is there!

While I didn’t stay at the Ritz, I stayed in a condo next door to it and would always walk over and use the Ritz’s beach.  In one word WOW!  I would go back there in a heartbeat…and almost did for our honeymoon.  The Ritz isn’t all inclusive, but they have a deal that if you stay in a certain room level (I think it was $350/night) then they’ll give you a $100/day resort credit, which can be applied towards food, spa, catamaran cruise, etc.  I think it would be so worth it!  There is so much to do in the V.I.  You can be as active as you want, or as low key as you want.  It’s so amazing there.

My hubs and I are hopefully (crossing my fingers the military complies) taking our belated honeymoon to the Bahamas.  I’ve never been there, but I’ve heard good things about the resort we chose (Sandals).

@Miss Baker:

So many suggestions! I love the Riviera Maya and definitely recommend a great all-inclusive resort. Take a look at Palace Resorts – I’ve stayed in a couple and always had an amazing time. Service is so good and so is the food. Plus you can visit Tulum which was incredible. That would be a great honeymoon.

Or maybe one of the islands – Jamaica, USVI or St. Lucia.

I love Mexico-Karisma Resorts, Secrets, and Excellence are fantastic all adult, all inclusive resorts.

The new Zoetry resort in Punta Cana is pretty amazing.

You can’t go wrong with Couples resorts in Jamaica.
