(Closed) Carried out of the church?

missselenec:  Carrying a bride out of church isn’t a tradition I’ve ever seen or heard about.  I don’t like the idea but if you want to do it just make sure you practice it with FI. No dropped brides! 🙂

@missselenec:  I have never seen a bride carried out of the church. Poses like that are purely for the pics.

Husbands traditionally carried their wives over the threshold of their home for one of several reasons: protecting her from evil spirits; so she could act lady-like, appearing to be hesitant to give herself to her husband;to avoid her tripping and falling to avoid bad luck; or because in olden days she was being abducted and forcefully dragged across the threshold.

@missselenec:   I have never seen or heard of a bride being carried out of a church.  I thought the only time a bride was carried was over the threshold.

I’ve never seen that done? I’m not sure that was ever a thing?
