Damn right I am.  I have been picturing my husband carrying me over the threshold of our new home since I was a little girl playing house.  =)

Yes and that’s why he’s currently doing P90x. Just kidding…

I think this a sweet tradition, even if he and his boys are moving into “my” house. It will be “ours” then.

My Darling Husband carried me over the threshold of our apartment the first time we went there together after closing and it was a great moment 🙂

We did! I remembered on the way back from the honeymoon, and reminded him so we’d be sure to.

We totally wanted to, but forgot all about it by the end of the night.  Probably just as well, he was pretty drunk and the door was pretty narrow 😛  I would likely have ended up with a big fat goose egg from his smacking my head on the frame.

Yep I  got carried across the threshold right after we bought our first house. It was pretty important to me

We did haha. But we didn’t plan on it. After a long night and day of hectic crap Darling Husband and I drank a little and did it more as a joke than anything else 😛 hehe. It was fun.

We didn’t, but I wish we did! After closing on our home we walked in to find the seller’s movers were still inside. It kind of ruined the moment because we were pissed.

We’ll be doing that when we get our first house (so competitive in my area). A few places we’ve looked at have double front doors, thank goodness. 5’11 doesn’t easily fit through a door unless folded up carefully haha
