It’s gorgeous!

I own a Casablanca as well.  If push comes to shove and it’s too long, a different slip will make a difference.  I didn’t think it would, but it does.  If it’s too short, you could change your shoe, but 1″ is not really that much given all the details of your gown.

I did hem to hollow with Casablanca (2017). It came a couple of weeks ago and it was perfect. I planned on wearing flats from the start though. I think I had about an inch of wiggle room with it which allowed me to add a couple layers of tulle to make the skirt just a tad fuller, but it would have worked just fine without the extra layers as well.

Good luck with yours, your dress is beautiful!

I ordered hollow to hem and the length was off by about an inch (too long) so I just got a bigger crinoline and everything was perfect. Since the dress was made to my measurements I didn’t have to have any other alterations.

@peonies09:  To get my gown off the floor I needed 6″ heels!  But then they put slips on me (which I was against in the beginning) and it did the trick.  One of the slips pulled the fabric away from my legs so that nothing was touching.  They were even available for rent (versus buying).  That would be a pro on a hot day.

I had a hollow-t0-hem by Casablanca and never heard anything about it possibly being off by 1″! I’m glad I didn’t lol. Mine turned out perfect.

@peonies09:  The slip did not have a name or anything.  But it was a hoop skirt.  They have a few types.  The shop should have various slips for out to try on.  It would be great for a summer wedding!

I’m not a Casablanca bride (my dress is made by Allure) but I did have my hallow-to-hem measurement taken.   I was never told anything in regards to the dress coming in 1″ short/long.  I was told it would be made to my exact measurements.  I guess we shall see … dress comes in mid-august!

When I got my dress (a few years ago), it was $90 for custom measurements. Mine came out pretty dead on, a little bit short but I didn’t have my wedding shoes when I got measured, and just picked some from the salon that looked right.
