I just bought my Casablanca 2119! Just wondering – has anyone else paired this dress with a belt or added a crinoline underneath? I’m in the awkward position of living 4000 miles away from the dress right now, and can’t exactly pull it out of the car to see how things fit or match!

@biblia: I’m not sure I would do a belt with your dress (beautiful by the way!) but I could see maybe a light crinoline? Nothing too big though!

@pengoala: Agree and @biblia: that’s a stunning dress

I’m so excited, just tried this on and it is THE ONE! 🙂
Like pengoala said, I think you could put a thin layer underneath but it is pretty straight to be putting a lot of poof!
The pictures just don’t do this dress justice!

FINALLY, a real bride photo! I wore an a-line slip underneath (otherwise, it was hard to walk in because there wasn’t enough time to hem it). I also hated the sleeves, they were too loose for my taste and my seamstress wouldn’t tighten them for fear I wouldn’t be able to move my arms. So, the sleeves were shortened – they were able to keep the beautiful scalloped hem on them.
This is a photo from a friend. PM me at a later date if you’d like to see pro pics of this dress.

Not sure if any of you are still here, but I’m contemplating getting this dress… I would like a little more princess to it (more poor) Would anyone be willing to send me pics?
