When I ordered my Casablanca gown, I ordered a size 10.  I normally wore an 8 in "street sizes" at that time, and the sample 10 had a little room, so I went with it.  I was afraid an 8 would be too tight on my chest.

I have now lost a little bit of weight and the 10 needs to be taken in maybe a bit more than it would have 6 months ago, but I think their sizing is pretty right-on, if not just a teensy bit on the small size.  I think you will be fine with the size you have found!!

I wore a casablanca, and it was my size – I wear a 14, the dress was a 14.  surprisingly….most dresses run small.  Youshould be fine – that is still 2 sizes bigger, so it definitely shouldn’t be small.  You arent’ planning on changing the casablanca to strapless, are you?  Its a pretty deep v, isn’t it?  Don’t take my word for it, definitely get measured somewhere that sells casablanca and see what size you shoudl be in, but I think it will be fine.

I actually ordered a custom Casablanca dress and the top was the 1831 (the body was the 1881-I didn’t want strapless)

Anyway, my top is a street size 16 and I ordered a size 20 dress. I have  a really large chest, so it fit that just fine, and just needed to be taken in at the waist and hip. So I think you will have plenty of room.

I agree that the casablanca size chart is pretty accurate.

Good luck!
