Somewhat of a difference but completely un-noticeable.

Definitely a difference & totally noticeable!

100% un-noticeable to everyone but the bride. Their Ivory looks White!

    Zero difference.

I used to stress over this just like you are now and was dead set on getting a WHITE dress, not any other color, because one of our accent colors is white. However, after seeing how well the ivory flattered me versus the pure white, I was sold. The only person who is going to notice the white vs ivory thing is honestly going to be you. Get the dress that makes you look and feel the best, that is what is most important! Put your color worries aside. πŸ™‚

I have tried on a Casablance in both colors, and can honestly tell you that the difference is just as noticeable as with any other designer.

I’ve been looking at Casablanca mostly, and from what I’ve seen, their ivory is more on the white side than even other brands.   But it isn’t yellow-y or anything at all.  I’d think going full out white would be way too bright, but that’s just me.

What color have you tried it on in?

I have the 1914 in ivory and it is pretty much white. It does not have any of the yellow to it that other ivory dresses do. I say order it. It’s an amazing dress πŸ™‚

@Summer0813:  Not sure if this helps, but my dress is a Casablanca Couture B047 in ivory. The photo is not great, but here is mine…..the model below is the same dress in white. Other than my bodice, which is clearly ivory, I think the majority of the dress looks semi-white.

@xbrittfacee:  I tried on that dress. Its so beautiful. I was so close to getting it, but the beading was scratching up my arms. Have you had any problems with that?

I wore an ivory casablanca, and it looked white. It’s a very small difference, but I thought the ivory would look warmer in pics. Didn’t even dye my white shoes. Also, keep in mind, on your wedding day you won’t be standing next to a swatch book ; ) If you love the dress order it!!

Can you just go to a store that carries Casablanca dresses and look at one in white and one in ivory?  Then you’ll know which one you like better with your skin tone.
