Are you planning to get married at New York City Hall? Are you planning to get married between February and August 2009? Do you live in one of the 5 boroughs of New York City?
We are looking for couples that would be interested in letting us film their City Hall Wedding for a feature documentary film that is intended for theatrical release.
ABOUT THE FILM:
I HEART NEW YORK: A LOVE STORY is a unique feature documentary film about love throughout the five boroughs of America’s most densely populated city.
With an estimated 8.2 million people occupying just under 305 square miles, New York City is also the most diverse, with nearly 170 languages spoken every day and almost 40% of its population born outside the U.S. Our film will reflect this astonishing diversity and cultural richness, creating an exhilarating cinematic mosaic as we explore the triumphs and struggles of finding love, losing love and keeping love in the Big Apple.
You can also visit our website http://www.iheartnewyorkthemovie.com where you can view a 9.5 minute teaser we shot in February of this year which will give you a sense of the style and tone the film will be made in.
We are interested in finding a couple planning a to get married at City Hall in Manhattan, ideally they will live in one of the five boroughs and have some unique plans surrounding their Civil Ceremony.
Dressing in traditional wedding dress and riding the subway to your wedding? Are you meeting in the middle of your work day? Doing something interesting to celebrate afterwards?
We would like to meet with people well before their wedding date if possible and capture some of the moments leading up to the big day (getting the dress, the bouquet, etc.)And then we would want to film the wedding day itself.
If you are interested please contact me, I would love to discuss the possibilities of your involvement.
Look forward to hearing from you!
