I don’t know.  But I think they need to put her in the crazy house.  All her lies and denial.  She already dug her grave.

She is obviously guilty and had no place being a mother in the first place (in my opinion). She needs to be locked up in the looney bin.

I’ve been sort of paying attention and every time I focus on it I just get incredibly angry. I usually have to turn it off. The duct tape and sticker thing made me want to hit someone (preferably her). What kind of a woman does that and then tries to blame her family? She is a nut. If they put her on the stand I’d probably just sit there saying “Liar!” :/ :/ If they don’t convict her, I’ll feel like the system failed Caylee. (Being honest here, lol).

@AmeliaBedelia: this.

ETA: Although, since I lived in Central FL when it all started, I’ve been glued to the tv since the beginning of the trial. But most days I turn it off when it’s over going “seriously!?!?!” lol

I really wish I got court tv or whatever the named changed to so I could watch it all day without the commentary from the news channels. Interesting case but a lot of it makes no sense!

I highly doubt she will take the stand. She has the right to not incriminate herself so the prosecution cannot force her to testify. I also think she’s beyond guilty and just plain evil. I have a 2 yr old daughter so the whole thing hits very close to home and I want to cry everytime I see Caylee’s sweet face.

@Pupperoni: Watching it on TV makes me mad because they always cut to commercials at the wrong time. Go to wftv.com and click on the live blog at the top. That’s where I’ve been watching it. They only have commentary during sidebars and recesses 🙂

@7-9-11bride: I seriously doubt they’ll put her on the stand too. If they do she’ll appeal after for incompetent representation.

I haven’t read anything about this case since like 2009 but everytime I go to read the local newspaper online there’s a headline with a link to “NEW PICTURES FROM THE CASEY ANTHONY TRIAL” and I’m like…what?   I clicked once and there were just six pictures of that chick in an ugly shirt with barely any eyebrows. Who the hell wants to see that? I can’t even begin to imagine how much time that psycho Nancy Grace is devoting to this trial.  She must be having a straight up field day!

@miss sparkly cat: Yeah, if they have to have another trial they’ll either have to pull the jury from the panhandle or a different state. Every couple days Baez has tried to call a mistrial, but this judge doesn’t kid around. He knows how much it’s costing the state to hold this case, he’s closely following the rules by the book. Since there are other lawyers on her panel, it’ll be very hard for her to claim incompetent representation.

They won’t be able to. Every single thing she’s said so far has been proven to be a lie. She is not a credible witness for her own defense.

@miss sparkly cat:

They will also move to appeal or have the verdict dismissed because there’s claims that Casey wasn’t Mirandized while she was being questioned. Of course, she wasn’t officially being questioned at that time, she was just being asked normal questions any parent of a missing child would be asked. But at some point the police realized there was more than she was letting on and did not Mirandize her for risk of her shutting up, and I’m sure her lawyers will try and argue that that was a violation of her constitutional rights. Very murky water there; they’ll have to prove the cops had her pinned as a suspect and were no longer questioning her as just a parent helping the police find her child. But I’m sure they’ll try.

@ohheavenlyday: The defense already tried that. The day that cop was on the stand, Jose Baez tried to declare a mistrial saying she was never read her Miranda Rights, but the judge denied it. Said she was free to go at the time and it was even mentioned several times in the tape.
