I don’t understand why you can’t give a credit card, and then at the end of the night they charge you that ammount.

Or they can charge your card every single time someone goes up for a drink. 

Or could you give a large cash sum up front, and they could subtract from it as they “sell” the drinks to your guests, and let you know if you need to top it up as the night goes on.

Or is the issue just that you don’t want to/can’t pay for it?

@millielue:  You could get a keg of some kind of awesome beer, like something unusual or just delicious.  Do you have any local breweries you like?
