Nope, sounds good to me!

In addition I think it provides a wide range of options for people whether they are picky, vegetarians, pescatarians, allergic etc) And its fun to be able to pick and choose what they want to eat when they want to eat it.

this is assuming no seated dinner as well.

But I am biased but I am doing something like this as well, and to tell you the truth we will have more than that and I KNOW it is too much, I think this is much better balanced.

Sounds awesome!  I also love the scattered bar thing b/c one thing I hate about weddings is the buffet line at the one long table of food.  Sadly my venue is only big enough to do one big table 🙁
