Its been along time since ive been on here been very busy with work and the wedding being ooooh 28 DAYS AWAY!!
so just some little catchup on how things are going.
im starting to have wedding nightmares on the daily lol.
But we are both very excited and cant wait til our big day!
We have been very lucky in finding all our vendors & them not even blinking an eye once they find out that were a gay couple. I think we have just about everything ready to go except of course were still paying on stuff lol.
And Im finding that i have to stay ontop of people to RSVP and its really frustrating.
I had first desided on a dress my mother had bought a long time ago and never wore. i would only have to pay for alterations, it was a beautiful dress and hey anywhere that i can save a buck ill take it. BUT i made a mistake of about 2 weeks ago walking into a dress store and trying on a few dresses. i ended up falling in love and buying a whole new dress!! But it felt right and i loved it.
We still have yet to find my soon to be Mrs an outfit and im beginning to freakout! and shes just as calm as can be HELLO 28 days!!! does that mean anything to you!
so thats still one thing we needa get done.
we DIY all our centerpieces and those are basically done, ive had my hair and makeup trials and my girls all have there dresses.
Anyother September brides out there that are getting nervous and excited? what else do you have left todo?!

Congrats! so exciting. what’s a soon-to-be-a-Mrs outfit? Lol!
a few tips, since my wedding was four weeks ago:
be as clear as you can (like emailing pdf copies of itinieraries and lists) with your key players, bridal parties, etc, so they know exactly WHAT you need them to do, WHERE, and WHEN. you want to be able to relax on the big day, not be coordinating.
if you are planning on giving out any gifts on the day-of, have them handed out by someone else, and labled well. We forgot and missed some gift giving opps, because we were so overwhelmed by the night after the ceremony.
EAT! haha… no seriously, don’t skip breakfast or lunch. Ask your ‘maids to keep feeding and watering you.
Have your Mom or Maid/Matron of Honor or a friend make a day-of emergency kit. We had a sewing emergency, and it was so great that my Mom had everything.
Make a list for your photog of must-have photos. Get lots of posed portraits, but ask for lots of candids too. I’m kinda sad a didn’t get a nice posed one of just me and my Mom, but there was a lot of us in candid moments, and us dancing together, so that’s fun. I also wish we’d got a big group photo, of us and all our guests. No big deal, but if you are paying a pro, get what you want!
Breathe, and good luck!
also, you might get more responses and support from other September brides on the Month twins Sept board. 🙂

AHHHH! its sneaking up on me!
i came down with a cold and have been stuck in bed with my mind racing on everything that needs to be done.
Im finding the most frustrating part is that people DONT rsvp and im having to hunt them down an they say things like ooh sorry yeah im coming im like HELLO send ur response card i needa no how many your coming with! i spent $100 bucks in postage alone send the dang thing back dont make me hunt for you!
Im going to my final fitting today. and i believe ive put on weight lol so my dress might be a tight fit!
I have to finish up bridesmaid gifts. a have a few last touches todo on my centerpieces and im DIY all the bouquets so thatll b something im doing the day before the wedding!! besides that its just paying everything off UGH! lol
Thanks for all the advice!
So excited to finally have a date twin not too many sunday weddings out there 🙂
