Hi Mac –

Much love and hugs. I know it’s so hard to want something so badly that someone else (your SIL) has. Trust me, I know this so well. Too well. You’ve had a really tough year so far and you’re looking for something wonderful to look forward to and you definitely deserve it!! Start by taking little steps to making your dream come true – like charting and building a strong, wide support network around you. You’re going to need it when that baby comes! Take it nice and slow and focus on the journey and not the destination. Enjoy the intimate moments, enjoy the slow preparation. Be happy where you are now and on enjoying the process of making your dream come true rather than getting there! You’ll get there eventually, just focus on enjoying the journey and savouring every little tiny step. Does that make sense?

Lots of love

I was so touched and humbled to read your posts. I’m glad to hear you’re both doing better 🙂

Hope you make the most of being an Aunty whilst you and your husband decide what’s right for both of you.

@Macintosh:  just wanted to say hello and glad to hear you are getting your husband back. I think you are doing the right thing to start charting again and maybe throw caution to the wind. If its meant to be, it’s meant to be. At least that’s what I believe and I’m sure a baby would be a huge bLessing.

First of all, I am so glad to see an update! Secondly, I think your husband has come so incredibly far in what is really a pretty short amount of time so I think if I were you I would wait and see where things are at in another 3-6 months 🙂

@Macintosh:  When my cousin had her baby I went on a holiday, ahahaha! I found baby shopping was a little difficult for me too. I ended up sending her a gift voucher for a baby photoshoot. I thought that was something that all mums like to have done but is just one of those extra expenses you don’t need after a baby. It also saved me from having to look at all of the baby clothes!
