    Did the caterer reply to your emails and confirm your requests?

    This is what contracts are for. If you have already talked to him stating the same concerns you told us and he insists that you have to pay for the mistakes that weren’t your fault, it’s time to look at the contract!

    sweetnovemberbride :  Print your contract and every email you have with him, and ask your wedding planner to do the same.  Every point he forgot or didn’t do, highlight.  If you can prove that everything he is saying is wrong and he doesn’t back down, get an attorney.  

    Only reason I don’t suggest an attorney right away is that you will be paying them easily $180 per hour. Make sure you have your documentation in order.
