I’d REALLY appreciate some opinions from Bees that have been there or are in the mix.
We’re planning a destination wedding, and paying for almost everything ourselves. So like most of you in the beehive-are on a small budget.
We’re expecting around 30-35 guests. Due to costs the caterer offered to supply higher end plastic plates and utensils.
Future Mother-In-Law found and purchased cheap glass champagne flutes.
My FH thinks that it would be confusing and offensive to the caterer to use the Glass Flutes. As he puts it he thinks it’s ‘nickel and diming the caterer’
I like the caterer and think he’s pretty laid back so I wouldn’t want to upset him but I think it would be nice to have real clinking stemware. Also, we would not ask the caterer to wash glasses. I’m not sure whether we would collect the glasses afterwards, but it being aprox 30 guests most of whom are somewhat older aunts, uncles etc I wouldn’t guess we would have to scavenge the bushes for them lol.
What do you think Bees?????
I can’t wait to hear your thoughts : )
