I would stay away from pasta. A lot of people are on low carb diets, or other diets, and the Chicken Breast seems much more waist line friendly. Also, after eating a bowl of pasta, people will be much less likely to dance!

I’m a pasta girl so it got my vote. Both sound delish though!

I would stick with the stuffed chicken because I have heard that pasta doesn’t always taste so great if it had to be cooked earlier in the day.  Of course, if you hire a good caterer, that shouldn’t be an issue.  Plus, that chicken sounds really good right now!

P.S.  I am getting married right outside of San Antonio and we have found a great caterer that has really good pricing in case your caterer doesn’t work out.  I seriously love them.  Granted we haven’t experienced them at our wedding yet, but our venue and our DOC both love them too.   And so do all of the online reviews.

I would prefer the stuffed chicken dish better.  🙂

I’d say stick with the chicken — I honestly think it’s what most people prefer/expect at a wedding.

Well, being gluten intolerant, I would not be able to eat the pasta dish unless it’s made with Girlfriend pasta… The other option is safer, as your starch can be rice or potatoes…

I’d be happy with both but that pasta dish sounds sooo good. If your concern is portion, I think its just fine.

Our caterer is Heavenly Gourmet.  They are seriously the nicest people we have dealt with when it comes to our wedding vendors.  And their prices beat everyone that I looked into.

It’s so easy for chicken breasts to get overcooked and dry, so I tend to avoid them when planning events.  I think the pasta sounds great.

@ jackie, are you getting married in San Antonio?  (if you don’t mind me asking).  I haven’t seen any bee’s on here that are getting married there.  I am from Houston so I don’t know much about the area so it was kind of a pain finding my vendors and hair and make-up people, but I finally did.
