So I have everything locked down except for a caterer. We’re having a wedding at 5:00 outdoors at a farm. Our reception is in the same location. Bc my parents have given me an extremely low budget (They’re giving me $1000 bc i’ve already spent my wedding money on a wedding that didn’t happen). I’ve spent $700 already for a DJ. My future father in law agreed to cook a pig in lieu of having a rehearsal dinner. All we have to have catered are the sides to go with a pig and an alternative meat choice for those that don’t eat pork. I’m getting quotes from caterers for like $15 pp. My mom said that is hwy robbery and that she cooked for her own bday dinner and served 50 people for under $200. This caterer will provide everything and clean up everything. To me, that’s important bc we’re not stressing out trying to get married and have everything ready to serve for 130 people. Plus there is only a microwave at the venue. What do you suggest I do?
