Why did the price go up?? Did they even have a good reason?

Is there anyway that you can trim the menu down?  A little here and there may add up – you never know!

Make sure that your quote includes tax and any service charges.  My venue/caterer charges 21% as a service charge and then we have 10% for tax…. OUCH

Tyr to cut the menu down, what about cokctail hour, cut some of appetizers down, what about alochol, can you have that for a shorter period of time.. I dont know just  suggestion things.. Sorry

yeah I would definitly try and widdle that menu down, maybe a main dish, a side or two and that’s it. Try to find ways to work w/them, maybe they can offer suggestions on bringing the bill back in line with your budget. That is what our venue did, we told that what we’d like to pay per person and they went with the corp catering menu instead, saved us almost 50%!
