Hi! We’re getting married an hour and a half from home and I am trying to combine my to-do’s that need trips to wedding location to be as productive as posisble.
In a few weeks we have our tasting with our caterer at the venue. My fiance suggested we kill 2 birds with one stone and go to the cake tasting on our way home. Is this overkill or good idea to get 2 things checked off the list? Were you guys extremely full after?
Also, do you mind letting me know how long your catering tasting session took?
Thanks for the help ladies!

We were REALLY full after our catering tastings, but they included dessert. That being said, we were not ready to eat again for a LONG time!

We did a tasting #1 when we cooked our venue & were super full, with just entrees. Are there other things you can do in that area? Maybe do the tasting, do something else & then do the cake tasting.

I really think you should do them separately. We did our cake tasting last month. It took 4 hours to go to all of the locations. Needless to say, although it was good…. I was overwhelmed after tasting all of that cake. If I would have had to taste our actual food too, I would have been miserable.
So, I recommend doing them separately, so that you can really enjoy and savor the food.
