I love the way a Cathedral veil looks but am not sure if it would suit this gown. I was thinking that perhaps a shorter puffier 5 tier veil for this gown. Any suggestions it’s the Maggie Sottero Angela dress that I will be purchasing.

Catherdral – I think it would look beautiful. I am biased because I don’t like short veils.

@Sparklybee: I’d hate to see the back of that dress covered up though! It’s gorgeous!

Single layer, raw-edged, cathedral-length veil. It will be very sheer and will not add to the volume of the overall look. I think that a shorter veil, and/or an elaborate veil will add too much bulk to the silhouette of this very beautiful, full, ball gown.

@AmyFarrahFowler: ditto. Sheer tulle nice hair pin.

I would do cathedral – it’s a princess dress and you need the princess veil to match!

I agree with the cathedral veil. If it’s one layer you will still be able to see the back of the dress.
