Mine doesn’t have anything insane, but a small peekaboo stone underneath that I got in blue moissanite for my Fiance’s birth stone. It changes colors depending on the lighting which I kind of love!

 Not the best picture , but mine has a Surprise diamond with two little swirls. It’s one of my favorite parts of my ring!

loubylou44 :  here’s mine! there’s miligrain detailing on the band on both sides, some fun detailing on the basket, and a tiny green moissy on both sides! I intended on them being emeralds, since that’s my fiance’s birthstone and the month we began dating, but they didn’t have emeralds that small. so green moissy worked fine 🙂

Mine isn’t low set, but otherwise fits the bill. I have a sapphire under on one side for my birthday and ruby on the other for his. 

Tapered, cathedral with peekaboo stones.

So I don’t have any diamonds hidden, but there is a very intricate detail in the gold that can not be seen from above…does anyone know if this has a name? Is this just the reselt of the small prong setting for the pave diamonds?

My detail is super subtle, and we wanted it to be more of a sapphire color, but I kind of love the light aquamarine-ish blue that it ended up being. The reason we went with the peekaboo and sapphire was for my fiance’s birth stone. He still loves it even if it’s not the perfect sapphire blue, and I think of him every time I look at it.
