Ok so something has caught me by surprise.. I want a big veil for my ceremony.. I don’t know why but I do.. So my dress is a vintage lace halter.. I just want a simple ivory one teir veil… I’m thinking I can do this myself..Has anyone else ever sone this??

Yes, its totally doable. Especially if you’re going for a cut edge.
I’ve got my tulle cut so far. I used a rotary cutter (and MAY have cut our wood floor in the process shhhhhh) and that made for a really sharp edge. I wanted to lay the veil out flat so I thought the floor was the best place to do this because its a pretty wide veil.

I’ve started sewing lace to the edge and thats going well, but very time consuming since its all detail work.

totaly do-able! I folded the tule in half so that when I cut the rounded corners for the bottom, they were even on both sides, and I just used a sissor. then gather the top sew it between some interfacing (just to make sure the top is clean) sew that to a comb and ta da veil!
