I know all the blogs and mags say no, no, no but I really love the idea of it…. and I think it could be stunning since a tea length dress lacks the drama of having a train. What do you think? Has anyone done this or have pictures of it on a bride or model. I’m thinking something like this Rosa Clara with this style veil…

It doesn’t seem proportionate, and I think it would look odd… :-

Cathedral veils are all the rage right now…seems like you see them on dresses with chapel trains or no trains…and sometimes it works, sometimes not. I myself wish I could pull off a cathedral train with my chapel length dress…but I’m thinking maybe not. All you can do is try it next time you have your dress on…but I too think it might look a little off or like a cape. Maybe just get a more dramatic and full viel.

I think it would look disproportionate and possibly the formality level between the two would look off. Cathedral veils are very formal where tea length dresses are not as formal so I don’t know if the styles would merge well together.

LOVE that dress. But not with a cathedral veil. They would compete with eachother and you’d lose the impact.

I think it would be disproportionate and the formality levels really don’t match. Sorry.

I agree with @Mrs.KMM:. Cathedral length veils are formal. Tea length dresses are less formal. It would seem like a contradiction.
I think short veils look adorable with tea length dresses. 🙂

I love both– Seperatly. Theyre gorgoues, but together? hmm.. have you tried it out yourself at a bridal salon? probably pictures together would make it a little easier for peopl to imagine and judge. But as of now, with my uncreative imagination, It just doesnt go together 🙁
