I have my first fitting on Saturday (OMG!), which means I’ll be taking my dress to the seamstress and leaving it there until much closer to the wedding. For the past few months I’ve been storing my cathedral veil in my dress bag, along with the dress. But I’m assuming I should not take the veil along with the dress because there’s nothing for them to do with it. So now I’m not sure how to store it, sine I won’t have the dress bag any more.
Also, what do you do with your veil leading up to the wedding to make sure it’s not wrinkly or creased?

I would hang it, and steam it. With a cathedral veil, you might not want to get it put on at the salon, and instead put it on right before you really need to wear it. But to store it, i’d steam it, and then hang it on a hanger. If you’re really worried, you could also put it in a garment bag.

Thanks, those are great suggestions. I’ll have to stop or Target maybe and get a cheap garment bag to store it in.
