We are having a Catholic ceremony without mass. In the programs I want to include when to sit and when to stand during the ceremony as most of the guests are not Catholic. When there is more than one part in a row that requires sitting or standing, should I still indicate that in the program or do you think people will know that the absence of “please sit” or “please stand” means to continue what they are doing?
On the one hand I don’t want to make the programs crowded or repetitive, but on the other I want all of our guests to feel at ease that they know what they should be doing. I know I feel unsure of myself on the occasions when I go to church with Fiance because I don’t always know what I’m supposed to be doing, and in this case there will only be a handful of guests who guests could actually look to to see what is expected of them.
